Neopost ID at a glance

Neopost ID, a Neopost group company, develops and runs supply chain traceability solutions.

These solutions address both the companies that make up the supply chain, such as carriers, postal companies and logistics specialists as well as companies that use logistics processes, such as manufacturers, distributors, etc

Formerly Neopost Logistics Systems, a strategic division of the Neopost group, which was founded in 1999, Neopost ID is the result of the merger of this division with Neopost Diva and NBG-ID, which were acquired by the Neopost group in 2000 and 2008 respectively.

Having focused until now on classic data acquisition technologies such as barcodes, voice response, digitisation and EDI, Neopost-ID expanded its range of tracing products with RFID by acquiring NBG-ID in February 2008. NBG-ID is one of the leading integrators of RFID solutions on the French market.
The companies' synergy in the area of traceability enables Neopost ID's and NBG-ID's clients and partners to benefit from an unparalled combination of sector knowledge and data capture technology for their transport/logistics and supply chain processes.

Our value chain
Our value chain expresses itself in the form of an information supply chain process. It is based on the three concepts 1-capture | 2-process and/or archive | 3-deliver the object 'piece of information'.

Our Solution approach
Our solution approach is based on our ability to handle every part of a project, from the requirements analysis to the deployment through to the project monitoring of the solution.
We have our own in-house teams:

In order to respond to our customers’ different requirements, our products consist of technological modules that can be combined and personalized on demand.

Our RFID expertise
The acquisition of NBG-ID enables Neopost ID to take advantage of seven years of experience and more than 20 successfully completed RFID implementations for major companies in the logistics, retail and textile sectors.

In October 2008, Neopost ID demonstrated its RFID expertise by implementing and deploying a major RFID project: The DHL/Metro project, which consists in tracking pallets of products from DHL Exel Supply Chain’s distribution centres to Metro Cash & Carry’s stores. This project required the installation of 156 RFID dock-door portals at 96 sites to read without contact the 1.3 million pallets that pass through them every year.

As a member of GS1 and one of the first adopters of the EPCglobal standard, Neopost ID is the first integrator in France to have implemented an Oracle EPC-IS tracking database.

Our clients
Our solutions, our domain knowledge and our fully managed services approach have already attracted major European companies.

Our resources
Neopost ID has 140 employees working out of several European countries:

In addition to the three countries where our solutions are distributed directly, Neopost ID's services are distributed in Europe and North America by subsidiaries of the Neopost group and on the other continents by the Export division.

Our R&D team is composed of 40 engineers based in Cavaillon in the south of France.

Our server centre consists of two separate secure sites with load balancing, real-time data duplication and 24/7 monitoring. Its infrastructure offers an availability that exceeds 99.9%.
