Carriers are aware that their service extends beyond the physical delivery of parcels to the management of information flows generated by the transport of these parcels. Shipping solutions have become strategic tools for building customer loyalty, facilitating exchange and building business.
In recent years, thanks to easier maintenance and ease of roll-out, Internet solutions have blossomed. Carriers can now extend the use of shipping solutions to all customers, regardless of whether they dispatch 10 parcels a week or 1,000 parcels a day.
An economical solution that is easy to deploy
cyberStation® is an online shipping solution offering shipping customers the possibility to manage the entire process via the Internet. Shipment data entry, the creation and printing of shipping documents and labels, the processing of electronic orders, address book management, statistical reports, etc... can all be done using a simple Web browser. Accessible in just a few clicks from your customers’ desktops, it will save you the trouble of having to install IT equipment for ‘connecting’ your shippers.
Compatible with the most well-known web browsers (i.e. Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox), and producing all documents in the universal Adobe PDF format, cyberStation® functions on the great majority of desktops and does not require the installation of any propriety software. Shipping labels can be rapidly printed using any printer (desktop or thermal) connected directly to the system or found on the network.
The ‘electronic’ link with each carrier is perfectly seamless for the customer. All shipments passed on to the driver when collecting parcels are directly transferred to the carrier. Similarly, if requested by the user, a message can also be sent to recipient customers informing them that their order has been shipped.
A shipment history can be referred to online. It can be used to consult shipment details, and to directly access tracking information and proof of delivery.
Statistical data can be used to produce predefined reports. A report management tool enables authorized users to customize these reports, and even to create new reports for summarizing their own management data. Programmed launch and e-mail notification functions can be used to automatically distribute these reports.
To facilitate the sharing of information, each shipping account can define its own company users in such a way as to manage several shipping stations at once, to only authorize a third party access to data, or to produce reports for the purpose of analysis.
A solution also tailored to the needs of one-off and small volumes customers
cyberStation® will support your development strategy by also offering you the opportunity to offer services to one-off or small-volume shipping customers, including for example very small companies or private individuals.
Coupling your shipping services with online payment technologies will enable occasional customers to use your delivery services. The entire shipping transaction – in other words the shipping order, labeling and payment all the way through to the collection details – can be handled directly online. Access to the online service and the ergonomics of shipment data entry can be customized to ensure your site is accessible to as many people as possible. We can implement payment service provider interfaces such as PayPal, WorldPay, Ogone, etc... Over 20,000 shipments are dispatched this way each month with cyberStation®.
An administration tool for managing your customer users
Every cyberStation® user has access to an administration application for the centralized management of user customers, parameters, reference tables, routing files, etc.
A report management tool enables you to monitor customer activity, produce customized reports and circulate statistics. A communication tool is made available to you for distributing messages (composed of text and images) to your customers when they log on cyberStation®.
A white-label solution and ‘hosting mode’
In order to become YOUR solution, the cyberStation® solution undergoes a customization phase. The solution is customized with your Transport standards and colors: brands, products, labels, manifests, routing files, EDI files, various management rules, customized postcode files, etc. During this implementation phase, a Business Support representative is at your service to understand your needs, manage functional specifications and oversee the project in collaboration with our teams of technicians until the system is delivered.
Your solution is hosted and operated on our servers at the Neopost Data Center. Our infrastructure, based on 2 distinct hosting sites connected by an optical fiber link with data replication and load balancing hardware, guarantees the high availability of your system.
All information flows generated by your system are concentrated and processed on our servers, and delivered to you at the frequency, in the format and via the mode of communication of your choice.
This service-oriented approach means that you will rapidly find a tested, up-to-date solution meeting your needs. It also means that you will not need to invest in the technical resources required to develop and host your solution. It also has very little effect on your IT resources, as we are able to tailor information flows to your specifications. In conclusion, it is the ideal formula for assisting in the development of and managing the seasonal fluctuations in your business without committing to new investments in IT or personnel.
Chosen by major carriers and international postal companies such as Parcelforce Worldwide, DPD, Chronopost, ColiPoste, Australia Post, etc., cyberStation® today counts more than 30,000 users in 22,000 companies.
