A solution tailored to the needs of logistics centers processing large volumes of shipping
Sites shipping several dozens, or even several hundreds of parcels a day require reliable, high-performance solutions enabling them to automate the booking of shipping orders and the printing of parcel labels, and to manage the electronic exchange of data with their parcel carriers. The neoPack® V2.5 station was designed for these more demanding logisticians.
The fact that it can be installed on numerous workstations enables logistics centers working with several packing, labeling and shipping stations, or spread over several buildings, to use the same database.
Communication with the Neopost Data Center is also centralized, and software updates are distributed automatically to all client workstations.
For order processing flows demanding high-level automation, neoPack® V2.5’s Automatic Mode function makes it possible to integrate shipping orders generated by the shipper’s information system. This system enables the user to import all data in its original format, and to then either select and validate shipments one by one, printing labels as the shipments are prepared, or print all labels in one go.
For logistics services combining packing and labeling processes on the fly, it is also possible to configure the station in automatic-labeling mode to produce labels without user intervention. In this way, neoPack® V2.5 serves as a stand-alone labeling station at the very end of the order preparation process.
A bundled solution based on a service contract and delivered ‘ready for use’
neoPack® V2.5 is a bundled offer including shipment management software, equipment and on-site and remote support services. The equipment – PC, thermal printer and desktop printer – is guaranteed and covered by an on-site maintenance agreement for the duration of the contract.
In special cases, where only the software solution is required, neoPack® V2.5 may be supplied in the form of a software license, in ASP mode, without hardware.
Every neoPack® V2.5 comes with the data exchange service enabling orders to be sent every day to carriers and the management of updates for software installed on the station via the secure Neopost Data Center. No technical architecture maintenance is required for you to communicate with your stations; all data passes through our servers to be delivered to you in the format of your choice via your preferred communication link.
A white-label solution
In order to become YOUR solution, the neoPack® V2.5 software package undergoes a customization phase. The software is customized with your Transport standards and colors: brands, products, labels, manifests, routing files, EDI files, various management rules, customized postcode files, etc.
On-site and remote services
Complete neoPack® V2.5 stations include numerous Services, such as:
- Station preparation and configuration
- On-site installation, connection and post-installation testing of all equipment by a certified technician
- User training at the moment of installation
- D+1 on-site maintenance from Monday to Friday
- Remote support from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday by calling +33 (0)825 06 94 80
In France these services are operated by Mail Services, a subsidiary of Neopost ID dedicated to Customer Services. In the United Kingdom, they are handled by Neopost Limited, and in Spain by Neopost Mailing and Logistics Systems.
